Join Ben Forster & Celinde Schoenmaker, the West End’s Phantom & Christine, for an intimate luxury Musical Theatre weekend at The Country House Cumbria.
Having both had the privilege of playing Phantom and Christine in the West End and returning to these incredible roles throughout our careers, Ben and Celinde wanted to create something that goes far beyond a traditional masterclass.
Beyond the Mask is a weekend dedicated to really getting under the skin of these iconic characters, their music and what it takes to bring this extraordinary material to life on stage.
Across the weekend, Ben and Celinde will work closely with guests on vocal technique, acting through song, character development, duets and scene study, alongside performance masterclasses and one-to-one coaching.
Whether Phantom or Christine is a role you dream of playing, you’re currently training or working professionally, or you simply have a passion for musical theatre and want the opportunity to explore this incredible material in greater depth, this weekend is designed to be a truly personal and immersive experience.
And it isn’t only about the work.
You’ll be staying at Ben’s own Country House Cumbria, with beautiful luxury accommodation, all meals included, relaxed evenings together, exclusive Q&As, stories and insights from our experiences playing Phantom and Christine and a few surprises along the way.
With such a small number of guests, there will be plenty of opportunity to work, sing, ask questions and spend time with us throughout the weekend.
